Jordan Youkilis
Founding Partner
Jordan Youkilis is a Founding Partner of KEY Investment Partners, where he leads the firm’s investment committee, due diligence processes, deal sourcing, portfolio oversight, and related thought-leadership initiatives. Since co-founding KEY in 2018, Jordan has helped build the firm into an institutional investment platform focused on identifying compelling opportunities in complex, rapidly evolving, and capital-constrained markets, initially as a specialist investor in the highly regulated cannabis industry and with continued development of the KEY platform.
As an investor, Jordan has led multiple portfolio investments from sourcing and underwriting through execution, strategic oversight, and positioning companies for long-term value creation and eventual liquidity. He has led KEY’s investments in springbig, HERBL, XS Financial, LivWell, TRP, PharmaCann, Garden Club, MM Brands, Highway Cannabis, and LeafLink. He serves as a board member and strategic advisor to multiple portfolio companies and has led numerous co-investment syndication processes.
Jordan works across the firm’s investment activities, partnering closely with the KEY team on new opportunities, portfolio company matters, transaction structuring, and complex strategic and execution issues. He is particularly focused on proactive outreach for deal sourcing, creative solutions across investments, and translating KEY’s experience, research, and perspectives for investors, management teams, and industry participants, through white papers, the Cannabis Unlocked podcast, and other market education efforts. Jordan has also been instrumental in the continued evolution of KEY’s investment platform, applying the same disciplined approach used in cannabis to opportunities characterized by market complexity, technological disruption, and significant long-term growth potential.
Prior to co-founding KEY, Jordan spent four years as a member of Partners Group’s Private Equity team, where he was responsible for sourcing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and executing lead and control leveraged buyout transactions for companies with enterprise values between $500 million and $2.5 billion. Jordan began his career at GE Antares Capital, where he spent four years predominantly in Leveraged Finance, underwriting debt facilities for business services companies in lower-middle-market buyout transactions.
Jordan attended Indiana University as a Wells Scholar, majoring in Economics and Political Science. He has also completed an MA in Consciousness and Human Potential at Maharishi International University. He lives in Denver, Colorado. Outside of KEY, Jordan enjoys traveling, skiing, reading, and hiking. He is an Ambassador for Girls Who Invest and host and producer of the Entangled Podcast, exploring consciousness, the nature of reality, and spirituality.
